Who we are
An EU holding with manufacturing in Tunisia
CBI Group is an engineering group that built the GFRP reinforcement market in Tunisia from the ground up and is now expanding internationally. CBIE — Composite Building Innovation Estonia OÜ — is its EU holding company.
GFRP — Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer — rebar and mesh is a non-corroding, lightweight alternative to steel reinforcement in concrete, used in construction and shipbuilding.
Our brands
PROBAR and PROMESH
The group's GFRP reinforcement is sold under two brands: PROBAR (Professional Rebar) for rebar and PROMESH for reinforcing mesh.

A durable alternative to steel reinforcement
Corrosion-resistant
Does not rust or degrade in saline, humid or chemically aggressive environments; ideal for coastal, marine and industrial use.
Non-conductive
Electrically and magnetically neutral; suited to tunnels, substations and areas near sensitive equipment.

No corrosion means lower maintenance and lifecycle cost over decades.

Up to 5× lighter than steel, cutting transport, labour and installation time.

Excellent tensile strength and rigidity.
